3. Information Sources and Third-Party Data
Marine Passport obtains vessel-related information from government agencies, public records, manufacturers, commercial data providers, public databases, and other available sources.
Information obtained from these sources may relate to a vessel rather than directly to you. Marine Passport uses this information to provide vessel searches, reports, research, and related Services.
Marine Passport does not create all of the vessel-related information presented through the Services and does not control the underlying records maintained by third parties.
Information supplied by third parties may be subject to their own terms, policies, restrictions, and update schedules.

Marine Passport strives to provide useful and reliable information, but information available through the Services may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, delayed, or unavailable.
Information obtained from government agencies or third-party providers may be displayed as reported by the applicable source. Marine Passport cannot change or correct an underlying government or third-party source record.
If you believe information displayed by Marine Passport is inaccurate, you may contact us at info@marinepassport.com with the relevant vessel information and a description of the suspected error.
Marine Passport may review the information and, where appropriate, compare it with the applicable source or data provider. Where an underlying source record is incorrect, you may also need to contact the applicable government agency or data provider directly.
The absence of information from a Marine Passport report does not necessarily mean that the information or event does not exist.
7. Permitted Uses and FCRA
Marine Passport provides vessel information and research services for lawful purposes, including vessel research, purchasing, ownership, maintenance, and related activities.
Marine Passport reports may not be used to determine an individual's eligibility for employment, housing, credit, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, unless expressly permitted by applicable law and authorized by Marine Passport.
